Dishwashers can collect mineral deposits, grease and residue in areas that are difficult to reach during routine dishwashing. These cleaning tablets are made for periodic machine maintenance, including when the appliance needs help with buildup or unwanted odors. Use them in an empty dishwasher as part of a monthly cleaning routine.

What do ACTIVE Dishwasher Cleaner Tablets clean?

They are formulated to remove hard-water deposits, lime, scale, grime, grease and stains from the dishwasher. The citric-acid powder works as a descaler, while the tablet’s lemon-citrus scent helps address stale appliance odors. Cleaning can also help clear residue from the jets, tubes and filter area and may help prevent clogs.

• Made for cleaning the dishwasher itself, rather than for washing a load of dishes.
• Combines descaling and deodorizing in a tablet format.

Which dishwashers are these tablets compatible with?

ACTIVE Dishwasher Cleaner Tablets work with most residential or commercial automatic dishwashing units, including machines with plastic or stainless-steel interiors. Compatible makes include GE, Bosch, Frigidaire, LG, Samsung, Whirlpool, KitchenAid, Kenmore, Maytag and Amana. The tablets are suitable for all styles of these units.

• For use in an empty dishwasher.
• Monitor the appliance during the cleaning cycle; stop it if foam or water leaks out and let the foam and water drain before continuing.

How many tablets should I use and how do I run a cleaning cycle?

Use one or two tablets per month by placing the tablet inside the empty dishwasher and running a self-clean or regular wash cycle. For an extra cleaning treatment, run two separate cycles and use one tablet in each cycle; adding more cleaner to a cycle can create excess foam and affect the machine’s function.

• Pack contains 24 dishwasher-cleaning tablets.
• Monthly use provides a year or more of routine treatments, depending on whether you use one or two tablets.

These tablets suit households and commercial users looking for a scheduled way to clean and freshen a compatible automatic dishwasher, including septic-system users. They are intended for empty-machine cleaning, with the amount used and cycle method adjusted to the maintenance need. A 24-tablet supply supports recurring dishwasher care with citric-acid descaling and a lemon-citrus scent.
