What are these Master Lock padlocks designed to secure?

They are intended for indoor and outdoor use, with gates and sheds named as suitable applications. The solid body is constructed for strength and weatherability, and the hardened steel shackle is designed to provide resistance to cutting and sawing. These features support protection and security from theft without requiring a key to open the lock.

• Use: indoor or outdoor locking applications.
• Named uses: gates and sheds.

What are the shackle and lock dimensions?

The lock body is 2 in (51 mm) wide, and the shackle measures 5/16 in (8 mm) in diameter, 2-1/4 in (57 mm) long, and 1 in (25 mm) wide. Compare the shackle dimensions with the opening and locking point you plan to use; the extended length is intended to offer application flexibility.

How do you set the combination, and what comes in the set?

The four-digit combination can be set by the owner, with a combination change tool included. The locks arrive preset to open at 0-0-0-0; use the user manual’s instructions to reset the combination. The four dials allow thousands of possible numeric combinations.
