Veterinary Formula Flea & Tick Shampoo and Spray Bundle, 16 oz + 8 oz, 14-Week Flea Control

Veterinary Formula Flea & Tick Bundle pairs a 16 oz shampoo with an 8 oz spray to kill fleas and ticks on contact and help control reinfestation on dogs.

• 16 oz shampoo and 8 oz spray — two formats for bathing and targeted flea and tick control.
• Spray protection against reinfestation for up to 14 weeks — helps interrupt the flea life cycle.
• Shampoo with pyrethrum, aloe vera, and lanolin — cleanses while helping soothe irritated skin.
• Soap- and paraben-free shampoo — made for dogs, cats, ferrets, and horses 12 weeks and older.
• Dog-only spray can also be used on surfaces the dog has contacted — including bedding, furniture, and crates.

This bundle brings together a flea and tick shampoo for bath-time cleansing and a spray for pest control on dogs and familiar surroundings. It is suited to households looking to address fleas and ticks on a dog while also treating the places that dog has contacted. The two products have different animal-use limits, so the shampoo and spray are not interchangeable across pets.

What does each product do for flea and tick control?

The shampoo kills fleas and ticks on contact as it cleanses and exfoliates, while the spray kills pests on contact and provides longer-term flea control. The spray’s formula combines botanical pyrethrins, permethrin, and Nylar; it kills fleas at all life stages and prevents flea eggs and larvae from developing into adults for up to 14 weeks.

• Pyrethrum in the shampoo is a flower-derived insecticide.
• The spray is designed to prevent flea reinfestation for up to 14 weeks.
• The shampoo’s aloe vera and lanolin help soothe irritated skin during cleansing.

Which pets can use the shampoo and spray?

The shampoo is formulated for dogs, cats, ferrets, and horses aged 12 weeks and older; the spray is for dogs only. This distinction makes the shampoo suitable for multi-pet households with eligible animals, while spray use is limited to the dog.

• The shampoo uses naturally derived cleansers.
• The shampoo is free of soap and parabens.
• Do not use the spray on cats, ferrets, or horses; its intended animal use is dogs.

How often can the flea spray be used, and where?

Apply the spray to dogs and to surfaces they have contacted, such as bedding, furniture, and crates. It may be reapplied as needed, but no more than once every two weeks; the longer flea-control period does not change this application limit.

• Use on dog-contact surfaces as well as on the dog.
• Keep spray applications at least two weeks apart.

This bundle suits dog owners who want a contact-kill shampoo alongside a spray for the dog and its contacted surfaces, and it can also fit homes with cats, ferrets, or horses for shampoo use when those animals are at least 12 weeks old. Veterinary Formula Clinical Care is vet-recommended, and the shampoo-and-spray combination provides distinct bathing and spray applications with clear species limits.
