Swiffer Heavy Duty Duster Kit, 3 ft Extendable Handle with 12 Refills

The Swiffer Heavy Duty Duster Kit is an extendable dusting set for reaching high and hard-to-access household surfaces, with a 3 ft handle and 12 dusting refills.

• 360° duster design — dust from different directions around household objects.
• Dust-busting strips — help break down layers of built-up dust.
• Specially coated fibers — pick up dust in nooks and crannies.
• Picks up 5X more dust than a feather duster after 9 uses — for a dusting comparison tied to repeated use.
• Removes up to 95% of common inanimate allergens from cat and dog dander and dust mite matter.

Dust can collect above eye level, between objects, and across everyday surfaces that are awkward to reach with a short duster. This kit is made for routine home dusting in places such as apartments and dorm rooms, as well as for stubborn city dust. Its extendable handle helps bring elevated surfaces within reach, while the refillable setup gives you multiple dusting heads for cleaning around the home.

Which surfaces can the extendable duster reach?

The 3 ft extendable handle helps you dust ceiling fans, vents, blinds, bookcases, and light fixtures. It is also useful for reaching fan blades and the tops of bookcases without holding the duster directly beside each surface. Around smaller objects, the duster can move between knickknacks and into narrow spaces where dust settles.

• Use it on ceiling fans and light fixtures.
• Reach vents, blinds, and bookcase tops.
• Dust around knickknacks and in nooks and crannies.

How do I assemble and prepare the Swiffer Duster Kit?

Connect the handle poles, slide a duster refill onto the handle, and shake it to fluff the fibers. For more fullness, pluck the duster strips, then extend the pole before dusting. The set contains one extension pole and 12 duster refills, so you have multiple heads ready for household cleaning.

• Join the poles to assemble the handle.
• Slide a refill onto the assembled handle.
• Shake the handle and pluck the strips to fluff the duster before use.

How does this duster handle built-up dust and allergens?

The 360° design and specially coated fibers help the duster collect dust from different directions, including around objects and inside tight spaces. Dust-busting strips work on layers of built-up dust, including stubborn city dust and sooty messes. The stated allergen-removal result applies to common inanimate allergens from cat and dog dander and dust mite matter.

• Traps and locks dust picked up from surfaces.
• Surface dust can circulate back into the air; removing it supports cleaner air.
• The 5X dust comparison is against a feather duster after 9 uses.

Does the kit suit a small home or limited storage space?

Swiffer Heavy Duty Dusters are described as compact, lightweight, and easy to store, making the kit suited to small living spaces such as apartments and dorm rooms. The extendable pole is useful when cleaning elevated areas, and the supplied refills provide dusting heads for use as needed. Replacement Swiffer Duster refills are available.
