Refresh OPTIVE MEGA-3 is made for dry, burning, or irritated eyes and can fit into a morning or nighttime routine. Its formula combines lubrication with hydration and helps protect natural tears from evaporating, addressing several aspects of dry-eye discomfort in one drop product.

How does Refresh OPTIVE MEGA-3 support dry-eye comfort?

Its triple-action formula lubricates and hydrates the eye’s surface while helping protect natural tears from evaporation. One drop is designed to provide 10+ hours of dry eye relief, though results may vary. The formula’s active ingredient, carboxymethylcellulose (CMC), provides lasting lubrication for dry eyes.

• Rapid relief is intended to soothe dry, irritated eyes.
• Hydration and lubrication work together to support comfort at the eye’s surface.

What is in the formula?

HydroCell technology is a patented, sodium chloride-free (NaCl-free) solution containing glycerin. It hydrates by balancing osmolarity and helps maintain the volume of cells on the eye’s surface. Flaxseed oil and trehalose are inactive ingredients: the flaxseed oil contains omega-3s, and trehalose is an antioxidant.

• CMC is the active lubricating ingredient.
• Glycerin is part of the HydroCell solution.

How do I use the single-use containers?

Apply 1 to 2 drops in the affected eye or eyes. The preservative-free formula can be used as often as needed, and the sterile vials are designed for single use.

• Each container holds 0.01 fl oz (0.4 mL).
• The carton contains 60 single-use containers for convenient use away from home.
• The drops can be included in a morning or nighttime routine.

What should I know about the brand and eligibility?

Refresh is the #1 doctor-recommended brand for preservative-free artificial tears and has more than 35 years of experience (Data on file, AbbVie, Inc. REF-113774). Refresh OPTIVE MEGA-3 is FSA and HSA eligible; whether an expense qualifies depends on your plan.

• FSA or HSA funds may cover the product as an out-of-pocket expense, depending on plan rules.
• The formula is preservative-free and supplied in sterile, single-use containers.

Refresh OPTIVE MEGA-3 is suited to people seeking lubricant drops for dry, burning, or irritated eyes, including those who want a single-use format for their routine. Its CMC lubrication, glycerin-based HydroCell hydration, and preservative-free vials define its approach to everyday dry-eye comfort.
