Prepared Hero Emergency Fire Blanket 4 Pack, 39 x 39 in, Pull-Down Tabs

Prepared Hero Emergency Fire Blanket is a four-pack of 39 x 39 in (99.1 x 99.1 cm) blankets designed to help smother small fires and provide a heat shield.

• Four blankets, each 39 x 39 in (99.1 x 99.1 cm) — keep fire coverage available in several locations.
• Pull-down tabs — deploy a blanket by pulling the tabs.
• Two layers of woven fiberglass fabric and an inner fire-retardant film — a layered construction made to isolate heat.
• Conforms to CE safety standards (EN 1896:1997) and isolates temperatures up to 1022°F (550°C) — clear material and heat-resistance specifications.
• Does not expire — no replacement is needed because of an expiry date.

For a small fire in the kitchen or another part of the home, a fire blanket offers a way to suppress flames without the mess associated with common fire extinguishers. Prepared Hero blankets are also intended for settings such as a backyard, vehicle or campsite, where having a compact fire-suppression option close at hand can be useful.

What fires and situations is the Prepared Hero blanket designed for?

Prepared Hero Emergency Fire Blankets are designed for small fires, including liquid and grease fires, and can also serve as thermal or heat shields. The flame-retardant material and layered construction are made to isolate high temperatures, with a stated limit of 1022°F (550°C). The blanket is intended for different types of fire, while its fire-suppression purpose is specifically described for small fires.

• Useful locations include the kitchen, backyard, vehicle and camping kit.
• Fire suppression without the mess associated with common extinguishers.

How do you deploy a Prepared Hero fire blanket?

Pull down the tabs to deploy the Prepared Hero blanket. The pull-tab design provides a direct way to access and use the blanket when needed; the four-pack lets you place blankets in multiple locations suited to your household or activities.

• Each blanket measures 39 x 39 in (99.1 x 99.1 cm).
• A hole slot allows the blanket to be hung on a wall.

What is the blanket made from, and does it expire?

Prepared Hero Emergency Fire Blankets are made from 100% flame-retardant material, with two woven fiberglass layers surrounding an inner fire-retardant film. They conform to CE safety standards (EN 1896:1997). The blankets do not expire, so they do not need to be replaced because they have reached an expiry date.

• Layered woven fiberglass and an inner fire-retardant film.
• Can be used as a thermal or heat shield as well as for fire suppression.

This four-pack suits households and people preparing a vehicle, backyard or camping kit who want a pull-tab fire blanket for small fires and heat shielding. Its 39 x 39 in size, wall-hanging slot and non-expiring design make it suitable for keeping fire coverage accessible in more than one place.
