Will FORID 13-gallon bags fit my trash can?

They measure 24.8 in long by 31.4 in wide (63.0 × 79.8 cm) and fit round bins up to 15.7 in (39.9 cm) in diameter and 27.4 in (69.6 cm) in height. For rectangular wastebaskets, the longest side should be no more than 12.4 in (31.5 cm), with a height up to 27.4 in (69.6 cm). Compare these limits with your bin’s dimensions to choose a suitable fit; the bags are intended for most small U.S. bins.

• Round-bin maximum: 15.7 in (39.9 cm) diameter.
• Rectangular-bin maximum: 12.4 in (31.5 cm) along the longest side.
• Maximum stated bin height: 27.4 in (69.6 cm).

What are the bags made from, and where can they be composted?

FORID Compostable Trash Bags are made from plant starch material (PSM), a biomaterial based on natural, renewable plant starch extracts. The material complies with ASTM D6400 and the European standard EN 13432, and the bags can be composted in a backyard or home composting facility. These standards and the stated composting settings help identify the intended end-of-use option for the bags.

• Material: plant starch material (PSM).
• Composting settings: backyard or home composting facilities.
• Standards: ASTM D6400 and EN 13432.

What can I use these bags for, and how much can they hold?

Use them as liners for household waste, recycling and baby diapers in kitchens, offices, bathrooms, bedrooms or living rooms. Each bag has an octagonal sealed bottom designed to withstand at least 83 lb (38 kg). The bottom construction is intended to help resist tearing and leakage when the bag contains wet garbage; the listed load capacity is a minimum, not a recommendation to exceed the weight your bin can support.

• Pack quantity: 80 bags.
• Colour: clear green, so contents remain visible for sorting.
• Fragrance: unscented and odorless.

These bags suit households and workspaces looking for a visible, unscented liner for everyday waste, recycling or diaper disposal, with composting use in a backyard or home facility. They are sized for bins within the stated round or rectangular measurements, and their plant-starch material and octagonal sealed base define their compostable use and load support.
