Chumajor Dog Back Seat Extender, Black, 400 lb Support and Waterproof Coverage

Chumajor L Back Seat Extender for Dogs turns your vehicle’s back seat into a more spacious pet resting area, with three honeycomb boards and support for up to 400 lb (181.4 kg).

• Three honeycomb boards create a supported back-seat bed and help keep a dog from dropping into the footwell.
• Six-layer construction supports up to 400 lb (181.4 kg) for dogs riding in the back seat.
• Waterproof seat and door coverage with zippered side flaps helps shield upholstery from fur and dirt.
• A breathable mesh viewing window lets a dog see outside and supports airflow.
• Seat anchors, four headrest straps and two side-flap straps help hold the cover in place; it accommodates pet safety belts and child safety seats.

This extender is made for car journeys when a dog needs more continuous space across the back seat. The boards bridge the seating area to help prevent a pet from falling into the footwell during sudden stops or sharp turns. Its cover also extends protection to the doors, while the mesh window gives a dog a view beyond the cabin rather than fully closing off the back-seat area.

How does the Chumajor back seat extender support a dog?

Three sturdy honeycomb boards form a broad, supportive surface across the back seat, and the extender is designed to support loads up to 400 lb (181.4 kg). This creates a pet resting area that helps keep a dog on the seat surface instead of slipping into the footwell. The six-layer build combines fabric, filler and backing materials to provide the extender’s structure and surface.

• 600D Oxford fabric is part of the six-layer construction.
• PP cotton filler and a non-slip EVA backing are also included in that construction.

How does it protect the back seat and stay in place?

The waterproof cover protects the back seat and doors, with zippered side flaps adding coverage against fur and dirt and helping prevent access to the car floor. Seat anchors, four headrest straps and two side-flap straps help secure the cover in the vehicle. The installation design also accommodates pet safety belts and child safety seats, making it suitable for family vehicles where those are used.

• The side flaps zip closed for added upholstery coverage.
• A PVC non-slip backing is part of the setup designed to help the cover remain stable.

What features help make car rides more comfortable?

A breathable mesh viewing window gives a dog a view outside and allows airflow through the cover; this design is intended to help reduce anxiety during a ride. Storage pockets provide space for a dog’s essentials, keeping them close at hand in the back-seat area. Together, the window and pockets add functions beyond seat coverage while the dog rides on the extended surface.

• The mesh window provides visibility between the back seat and the front cabin.
• Additional storage pockets are built into the cover.

How do you clean the Chumajor dog car seat cover?

The cover is removable and machine washable, so it can be taken out for washing after car use. Its coverage is designed for the back seat and doors, and the zippered flaps help limit fur and dirt reaching the upholstery. Before choosing it, compare your vehicle’s back-seat layout with the extender’s coverage; no specific vehicle dimensions are provided here.

• The cover can be removed for machine washing.
• Its seat-and-door coverage is intended for back-seat use.

The Chumajor L Back Seat Extender suits dog owners who want a wider back-seat resting area, upholstery coverage and a way to help keep a pet out of the footwell. It also fits family rides where a pet safety belt or child safety seat is part of the setup. It is designed for back-seat travel rather than use as a standalone pet bed outside the vehicle, with three boards and a six-layer cover creating its supported car-seat surface.
