URPOWER Large Dog Car Seat Extender, 3-Panel Hard Bottom, 550 lb Support

URPOWER Back Seat Extender for Dogs is a hard-bottom car seat cover designed to give dogs a flatter, roomier back-seat area, with three support panels and a 550 lbs weight capacity.

• Three large hard-bottom panels expand the back-seat area by 45% — giving dogs more room to sit, lie down and stretch.
• Supports up to 550 lbs — the reinforced structure helps bridge the gap between the front and rear seats.
• Nine-layer construction with high-resilience foam — combines a supportive base with a padded surface for longer rides.
• 900D Oxford fabric with a PU and TPU waterproof barrier — helps protect the vehicle seat from wet paws, spills and pet mess.
• Mesh viewing window and two storage pockets — support airflow and keep small travel essentials organized.
• Designed for many compact through full-size sedans and SUVs — measure the rear seating area to check the fit.

Dogs can have limited room on a standard back seat, especially when the space between the front and rear seats leaves an unsupported gap. This extender creates a broader surface for everyday drives, road trips, camping and vet visits. Its hard-bottom structure is made for dogs that need room to settle or stretch out, while the padded top and seat-protection materials suit trips where comfort and keeping the back seat cleaner both matter.

How does the hard bottom create more room for a dog?

Three large hard-bottom panels form a wider, flatter surface and extend the usable back-seat area by 45%. The reinforced structure supports up to 550 lbs and helps bridge the gap between the front and rear seats. Compared with designs that use six or eight smaller boards, the three-panel layout uses fewer, larger support panels.

• Provides room for medium to large dogs to sit, lie down or stretch.
• Made for one large dog or multiple dogs within the stated weight capacity.
• Non-slip backing, headrest straps and reinforced buckles help keep the cover in place.

What makes the surface more comfortable for longer rides?

The cover has a nine-layer structure with high-resilience foam above the hard panels. The foam-padded surface cushions a dog’s body and joints, softening the feel of the rigid support underneath. This design is intended for back-seat travel, including longer rides with large breeds, senior dogs and pets that spend extended time in the car.

• The hard bottom provides the supporting base.
• Foam sits above the panels to add cushioning.

How does the cover protect the vehicle’s back seat?

Its 900D wear-resistant Oxford fabric and dual PU and TPU waterproof barrier help keep moisture and common pet mess from reaching the seat. The cover is designed to help block muddy paws, spills, drool, pet hair, scratches and sharp claws. Reinforced seams and edge piping help reduce leaking, tearing and wear during regular use.

• Useful for rides after hikes, beach trips, rainy outings and park visits.
• A breathable mesh window lets your dog see you and improves airflow; this may help reduce travel anxiety.

Will this extender fit my car, and what comes with it?

The cover measures 52 x 24.8 inches (132.1 x 63 cm) and is designed for many compact, midsize, large and full-size SUVs, as well as compact and midsize sedans. Measure your rear seat area against these dimensions, particularly if your vehicle has captain’s chairs, a large center console or a narrow back-seat layout. A dog seat belt is included, and two large pockets provide space for leashes, treats, toys and waste bags.

• Use the dimensions to assess the available rear-seat area before choosing the cover.
• Storage pockets keep common dog-travel items together within reach.

URPOWER’s hard-bottom extender suits people who regularly travel with medium to large dogs and want a broader, padded surface alongside waterproof seat protection. Its listed fit range covers many sedans and SUVs, while the stated dimensions help owners assess narrower layouts or vehicles with captain’s chairs. For those trips, it combines a three-panel support base, foam cushioning and practical travel features in one back-seat cover.
