What can I prepare on the three boards?

How do the surface and grooves help during food prep?

The deep grooves catch juices from ingredients such as meat, fruit, and vegetables, helping keep runoff from spreading across the countertop. The smooth bamboo surface is designed to be gentle on knives and help blades stay sharp longer. Both sides can be used, so the boards offer reversible prep surfaces for foods including meat, vegetables, fruit, bread, and cheese.

• Grooves help contain ingredient juices during cutting or carving.
• The smooth surface is intended for knife-friendly food preparation.
• Use either side of a board for prep.

How are the boards made and stored?

Each board is made from deep-carbonized bamboo, which the product describes as harder and more durable than ordinary wood. The carbonization process is also designed to resist odors and minimize moisture absorption. Each board has a hanging hole, allowing it to hang from a hook or rack for space-saving storage and quicker air-drying after use. The boards are lightweight and easy to take out for prep, then hang up when you need to clear counter space.

• Hanging holes support storage on hooks or racks.
• Hanging the boards allows air to circulate for drying.

The BTHW set suits home cooks who want separate board sizes for meat, vegetables, fruit, or cheese, along with reversible surfaces and hanging storage. Its bamboo construction, juice-catching grooves, and task-specific board sizes make it a practical choice for everyday preparation and entertaining.
