ZJBOX ATSC Digital TV Converter Box, 1080p with USB Recording and HDMI

ZJBOX is an ATSC digital TV converter box for viewing over-the-air television on analog and digital screens, with 1080p output.

• USB recording requires external storage because the box has no built-in storage — save TV programs for playback.
• Supports FAT32 external hard drives up to 4TB or flash drives up to 32GB — choose storage within these limits.
• USB playback supports photos, MP3 music, movies and recorded programs — use the box to access media files.
• Includes a remote control, HDMI cable, composite cable and one-year warranty — the listed accessories are part of the package.
• Favorite channel list, parental controls, closed captions, auto tuning and timer functions — manage channels and viewing settings.

This converter is made for receiving free over-the-air digital broadcasts with an external antenna and viewing them on compatible screens. It can also record programs to USB storage, making it useful for viewers who want to save broadcasts and play them back later. Reception and the quality of viewing or recording depend on the broadcast signal.

Which screens and signals work with the ZJBOX converter?

It connects over-the-air ATSC broadcasts to analog and digital TVs, projectors and computer monitors. An external antenna is required to receive a signal. The box converts the signal but does not receive or amplify it on its own, and it does not replace cable TV set-top boxes.

• HDMI output and an included composite cable provide two connection options.
• 1080p output supports viewing and recording in Full HD when signal quality allows.

How does USB recording and playback work?

Connect a compatible external USB storage device to record TV programs, then play recorded programs on a TV or computer. The box has no internal storage, so recording depends on a connected drive or flash drive that meets the supported file-system and capacity limits above.

• Recorded programs can be played back from USB storage.
• USB media playback also covers photo files, MP3 music and movie files.

What viewing controls and timer functions are available?

The tuner includes channel and viewing controls for managing broadcast television. Auto tuning searches for channels, while the favorite channel list and parental control function help organize access to programming. Closed captioning is also supported.

• Timer settings include timed startup and shutdown.
• The device operates offline, and firmware updates are infrequent.

What comes with the ZJBOX converter?

The package contains one digital TV box, one remote control, one HDMI cable and one composite cable, along with a one-year warranty. An external antenna and USB storage are needed for antenna reception and recording, respectively.

The ZJBOX converter suits viewers who want to receive ATSC over-the-air broadcasts on an analog or digital TV, projector or computer monitor, with options for USB recording and media playback. It is for antenna-based broadcast reception rather than cable TV service, and its 1080p output depends on signal quality.
