Made for toddlers who enjoy copying everyday fix-it activities, this toolbox brings pretend play together with simple, hands-on learning. Children can press, turn, drill and place pieces as they explore different ways to interact with the set. Its intended age range is 2 to 5 years, with activities built around tools, colors, numbers and mechanical sounds.

What can children learn with the toolbox?

The electronic tray’s illuminated buttons play songs that introduce a variety of tools, how they are used and the sounds they make. The double-sided instruction cards add color and number learning to the pretend-repair activities. These features give children several ways to engage with the toolbox: listening to songs, looking at the cards and acting out repairs.

• The instruction cards have two usable sides.
• The tray combines light-up button interaction with sound.

How do the drill and gears work?

The toy drill spins the gears and drills screws into the holes in the electronic tray. Children can also turn the colorful gears themselves to hear mechanical clicking sounds. The drill and hand-turning activity provide different ways to manipulate the gear mechanism while building motor skills.

• The screws are used with the holes in the fix-it tray.
• Turning the gears by hand produces clicking sounds.

What is included, and what powers the electronic features?

The set includes an electronic fix-it tray, working toy drill, hammer, wrench, nails, screws and activity cards. The hammer, wrench, nails, screws and cards fit inside the toolbox for storage between play sessions. The electronic toy requires 2 AA batteries; batteries are included for demonstration purposes only, and new batteries are recommended for regular use.

• Tool pieces and cards have a place inside the toolbox.
• Battery requirement: 2 AA batteries.
