How does the touchless lid work?

• Press and hold the power button for 1.5 seconds to turn the bin on after installing batteries.
• A flashing red indicator signals low batteries; replace them. If the sensor does not work, switch the bin off and restart it.

Can I keep the lid open?

Yes. Press the button to enter Always Open mode; the motion sensor is disabled while this mode is active. The indicator stays blue at first and turns off after one minute. Press the power button again to close the lid and return to motion sensor mode.

• Press the button again to leave that mode and resume sensor operation.
