TATTMUSE A285M Portable Thermal Printer, Wireless Bluetooth, 21-Piece Paper Roll

The TATTMUSE A285M is an inkless portable thermal printer for printing documents and images on the go, weighing 1.5 lb (0.68 kg) and supporting five thermal paper sizes.

• Compact 1.5 lb (0.68 kg) design — carry it in a backpack or briefcase for work, school, or travel.
• Bluetooth printing for iPhone, Android phones, iPad, and tablets — send files from a mobile device.
• USB-C connection for laptops and computers — print from a computer after installing the driver.
• Thermal printing without ink, toner, or ribbon — use thermal paper for black-and-white output.
• Includes 21 pieces of paper (1 roll) — start with thermal paper included with the printer.

For mobile work, a printer needs to travel easily and handle everyday documents without relying on ink cartridges. The TATTMUSE A285M is made for printing on business trips, in a car or truck, at a small office or construction site, and at school or home. Use it for documents, contracts, invoices, receipts, recipes, lists, boarding passes, pictures, and web pages.

What paper can the TATTMUSE A285M print on?

The TATTMUSE A285M prints on thermal roll paper, continuous thermal paper, and single-sheet thermal paper in five supported sizes. Its built-in paper bin holds paper for use with the compact printer, and the width options cover common document and narrower-format printing. For US Letter, the supported sheet size is 8.5 × 11 in (21.59 × 27.94 cm); A4 is also supported.

• Supported widths also include 4.33 in (110 mm), 3.14 in (80 mm), and 2.08 in (53 mm).
• Choose the thermal paper size and file type when preparing a print job in the app.
• Use thermal paper only: regular copy paper is not supported.

How do I connect the printer to a phone, tablet, or computer?

The TATTMUSE A285M connects to phones and tablets through Bluetooth in the app, while laptops and computers connect through USB-C. For a mobile device, download the app using the user manual, turn on the printer and Bluetooth, then use the app’s Connect icon to find and connect to the A285M. Select the paper size and file type to print.

• Bluetooth compatibility includes iPhone, Android phones, iPad, and tablets.
• For a laptop or computer, download and install the driver for your computer system from a285m.labelife.cc.
• After connecting the computer and printer with a USB-C cable, open the document and select the A285M printer.
• Laptops and computers require a USB connection; they do not print through Bluetooth.

What does inkless printing mean for everyday use?

The TATTMUSE A285M uses thermal printing, so printing does not require ink, toner, or ribbon. The printer produces black-and-white output on thermal paper, without the ink clogging and cleaning issues associated with ink-based printing. It is suited to practical print jobs such as forms, receipts, lists, and travel documents rather than color printing.

• Output is black and white only.
• Charging requires a 5V 2A power source; do not use a charger that outputs above 5V.

The TATTMUSE A285M suits mobile notaries, truck drivers, business travelers, office workers, teachers, and students who need to print documents away from a fixed office setup. Its small, 1.5 lb format and phone, tablet, and USB computer connections make it a portable option for black-and-white thermal printing; it is intended for thermal paper, not regular copy paper.
