• Chain attachment and included CR2032 battery; for ages 8+ — take the Tamagotchi along with you.

Made for kids and fans of the original digital pet, this handheld game combines everyday virtual pet care with a guessing game. The original Tamagotchi debuted in 1997, and this edition brings its Generation 2 play to a star shower shell. Feed and care for your pet in short play sessions, or take it along on the chain.

What can you do with the Tamagotchi digital pet?

You look after the pet through its changing needs and check its health. The Generation 2 programming includes feeding, turning the lights on and off, playing, giving medicine, and flushing after it uses the bathroom. You can also discipline it when it calls for attention despite being happy, fed, and clean.

• Care involves several hands-on actions, from meals and play to health checks.
• Light controls, medicine, bathroom cleanup, and discipline are part of the virtual pet routine.

How does the number game and adult-character growth work?

The Number game asks you to predict whether the next number will be higher or lower. Your care for the pet and your game performance determine which of the 7 adult characters it becomes as it grows from egg through child to adult.

• Gameplay combines pet care with a number-guessing challenge.
• The adult character outcome varies with how you care for the pet and play.
