When a sewing project calls for an insulated lining, Insul-Bright brings together a reflective function and a material that is easy to sew through. It is intended for makers incorporating lining into homemade items, with the product’s stated uses spanning kitchen accessories and a soft lunch sack. The reflective action applies to both hot and cold energy, giving the lining a defined role in the finished project.

How does Insul-Bright lining work?

Its needlepunched construction reflects hot and cold energy back toward its source. This reflective function is the key feature of the lining, while its sew-through construction lets it be incorporated as part of a homemade project. The product is designed for sewing rather than serving as a finished item on its own.

• Needlepunched polyester lining.
• Reflects both hot and cold energy.

What can I make with Insul-Bright?

Use the lining when sewing homemade pot holders, oven mitts, or soft lunch sacks. These examples show how the same sew-in material can be used for kitchen accessories and a soft carry item. Its easy-to-sew-through construction supports adding the lining during the project’s sewing process.

• Homemade pot holders.
• Oven mitts and soft lunch sacks.

How much lining is in the pack, and how should it be washed?

The pack contains two pieces measuring 36 x 45 in (91.4 x 114.3 cm) each. The lining is guaranteed to last through a lifetime of gentle washings, so gentle washing is the care condition tied to that guarantee.

• Two pieces per pack.
• Gentle washings are covered by the stated lifetime guarantee.

Insul-Bright suits makers sewing lined household projects who want a material that can be sewn through and has a reflective function. Its stated uses, two-piece format, and gentle-washing guarantee make it a fit for homemade pot holders, oven mitts, and soft lunch sacks.
