Scotch Box Lock Packing Tape is clear packing tape for sealing cartons for moving, mailing and shipping, with a solvent-free adhesive and six dispenser-ready rolls.

• Advanced adhesive forms an instant seal — helps keep box edges and seams closed through rough handling.
• Thick tape resists slivering, splitting and tearing — made to seal each seam with one strip.
• Each dispenser has fall-back tabs — helps keep the tape end ready for the next use.
• Quiet, easy unwinding — supports steady application while packing.
• 3M offers a purchase-price refund if a box does not stay sealed — proof of purchase is required.

Sealing boxes can mean working through a stack of cartons, packing items for a move, mailing packages or putting seasonal decorations away. Scotch Box Lock is made for these everyday packing tasks, with adhesive that grips box surfaces and tape designed to resist tearing as it is applied. The individual dispensers keep each roll ready to use without a separate tape dispenser.

Will Scotch Box Lock stick to recycled boxes?

Yes. The adhesive is designed to stick to all box types, including boxes made from 100% recycled material. It adheres instantly across box edges and seams, creating a seal intended to hold through rough handling. The adhesive is solvent-free, and the tape is clear for sealing cartons without covering their contents with an opaque strip.

• Made for carton edges and seams.
• Suitable for packing, shipping, mailing and moving.

How many rolls are included, and what size are they?

The package contains six rolls, each measuring 1.88 in (4.78 cm) wide by 22.2 yd (20.3 m) long. Each roll is wound on a 1.5-in (3.81-cm) core and comes in its own dispenser, so the set is ready for individual roll-by-roll application.

• Six tape rolls per package.
• One dispenser per roll.

How does the tape help seal a carton?

Apply the tape along a box seam to create an instant seal over the seam and its edges. Its thickness helps resist slivering, splitting and tearing during application, and the tape is designed to seal a seam with one strip. This makes it suited to routine carton sealing, including preparing boxes for moving or mailing.

• Designed for one strip on each seam.
• Crystal-clear tape for carton sealing and packing away seasonal decorations.
