REPTI ZOO Reptile Dimming Thermostat, 300W PID Temperature Controller with Memory

REPTI ZOO Dimming Thermostat is a PID temperature controller for reptile heating, with a 5°C to 60°C (41°F to 140°F) control range and dimming designed especially for heat bulbs.

• Smart PID dimming — regulates heat-bulb output to help maintain steadier temperatures and may improve bulb lifespan.
• 5°C to 60°C (41°F to 140°F) control range — lets you set a target temperature for the monitored habitat.
• Digital display and temperature probe — shows the ambient reading and set temperature.
• Memory function — provides a controller with memory functionality.
• For heat lamps, heating mats and heat cables — supports different reptile heating setups, with a 300 W maximum output load.

Reptile habitats need temperature control suited to the animals and their environment. This dimming thermostat is made for setups where gradual heat-lamp adjustment can help avoid temperature instability and abrupt changes in lighting. It can also be used for pet breeding, hatching and other applications that require temperature control.

What heating devices can the REPTI ZOO thermostat control?

The REPTI ZOO thermostat is designed especially for light heat bulbs and also works with heating mats, heat cables and almost any heater within its stated limits. Its dimming control adjusts heat-bulb output rather than relying only on simple on-and-off switching; smart PID heating mode is designed to regulate more steadily and may improve bulb lifespan.

• Maximum output load: 300 W.
• The use warning says not to connect heaters exceeding 1500 W; keep the connected load within the 300 W maximum output rating.
• Do not use with a sunlamp.

How do I set up and operate this reptile temperature controller?

Place the REPTI ZOO thermostat’s temperature probe where you want to monitor conditions, set the target temperature, then connect the heating device. The LED screen displays both the ambient temperature and the set value, and you can switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit.

• Keep the probe at least 15 cm (5.9 in) from the heat source, not directly beneath it.
• Double-press the SET button to turn the thermostat on or off.
• Monitor the setup during its first use.
• If output seems very low, a small difference between the measured and set temperatures may be the cause; increase the set temperature by 3–5°C to verify.

What temperature range can I set?

The REPTI ZOO dimming controller has a constant-temperature control range of 5°C to 60°C (41°F to 140°F). Its sensor detects real-time temperature and the controller adjusts the heating output to help maintain the selected setting.

• Use the displayed ambient reading and set value to see current conditions alongside your target.
• Choose a setpoint appropriate for the habitat and the animal being kept.

This thermostat suits reptile keepers who want digital temperature monitoring and dimming control for a heat-bulb setup, as well as people managing compatible heating for breeding or hatching. It is intended for heating devices within the 300 W maximum output load and is not for use with a sunlamp.
