How do you erase the ink, and what temperature should you know about?

Use a FriXion eraser to make the thermosensitive ink disappear through friction. The ink becomes colorless when exposed to heat above 140°F (60°C), whether from erasing friction or another heat source. To restore its color, cool the writing to at least 14°F (-10°C) in a freezer.

This temperature response is important when choosing where to use the pens: writing can change color if it encounters heat, and cooling can bring the color back. FriXion pens are not recommended for legal or official documents, where the possibility of erased or temperature-affected writing makes this feature unsuitable.
