Automotive and maintenance work can leave small spills, drips and splatters around work areas, tools and vehicles. This roll is made for quick placement and pickup, whether a technician is working in a shop or needs a compact roll to take to a job. Its lightweight format also suits wipe-and-go cleanup and smaller messes, where taking only a needed section can help limit waste.

What liquids can the PIG mat absorb?

The PIG mat absorbs common industrial and automotive liquids, including oil, coolants, water, grease, gasoline, solvents, auto fluids, paint overspray and battery acid. It also absorbs most other liquids, making it suitable for varied shop cleanup tasks rather than one specific fluid. The mat’s dimple pattern draws liquid toward dry areas, helping spread absorption across the material and making more use of each section.

• Use it for drips, spills and splatters in vehicle repair and shop work.
• The dimple pattern helps wick liquid toward dry spots on the mat.
• Air-dry the mat for reuse after it absorbs water or washer fluid.

How do I use the roll and choose how much mat to take?

Place the mat over the spill or beneath a drip, allow it to absorb the liquid, then pick it up for cleanup. Easy-tear perforations let you separate the amount required instead of pulling off more material than the task needs. The roll’s grab-and-go format is intended to be convenient for mobile technicians as well as shop use.

• Use a section for small spills or wipe-and-go jobs.
• Perforations help control how much of the roll is used.
• Its lightweight format is designed for portability.

Will the mat leave grit near tools or customer vehicles?

The mat is free of damaging grit and dust, so it can be used around delicate sensors, parts and tools without introducing those contaminants. Keeping dirt and grit out of customer vehicles also helps maintain a cleaner, more professional shop environment. Compared with floor sweep, the mat is easy to lay down and pick up, supporting quicker cleanup without tracking grit around the work area.

• Suitable for work areas with delicate automotive components.
• Helps keep dirt and grit from being tracked into customer vehicles.
• Its dark gray appearance helps hide grime during use.

For technicians and shop teams handling automotive fluids, the PIG roll offers a portable way to manage routine drips, small spills and wipe-and-go cleanup. It is especially suited to work around tools and vehicle components where loose grit and dust are a concern.
