Phenyx Pro Dual UHF Wireless Microphone System PTU-71-2H, 2 Handheld Mics with Auto Scan

The Phenyx Pro PTU-71-2H is a dual-channel UHF handheld wireless microphone system for performances and speaking, with two microphones and 2 × 100 selectable frequencies.

• Auto Scan finds a low-interference frequency, and frequency lock keeps your selected setting in place.
• Two UHF channels offer 100 selectable frequencies each and support multi-set operation with up to 16 transmitters simultaneously.
• Line-of-sight operating range of 290 ft (88.4 m)–328 ft (100 m) gives performers room to move.
• Cardioid pickup and a tuned EQ shape vocal pickup and sound across low, mid and high frequencies.
• Metal receiver and handheld microphones, plus a replaceable microphone head, support repeated use and head replacement.
• The set includes two handheld microphones, four AA batteries for 16 hours of use, and connection accessories.

For karaoke, church services, weddings, DJ events and public speaking, a two-microphone wireless setup can make it easier to share vocals or alternate speakers without passing a single microphone. The PTU-71-2H combines frequency selection, synchronization and handheld controls in one system for these performance settings.

How does the PTU-71-2H manage wireless interference?

The Phenyx Pro PTU-71-2H uses Auto Scan to identify a frequency with less interference for synchronization. Its PLL frequency-synthesized transmission is designed for stable sound transmission with minimal dropouts and feedback rejection, while IR synchronization pairs the microphones quickly with the receiver.

• Channel 1 operates from 536.57–561.32 MHz across 100 frequencies.
• Channel 2 operates from 562.37–587.12 MHz across 100 frequencies.
• Lock the selected frequency to help prevent an accidental change after setup.
• Multi-set operation supports up to 16 transmitters at the same time.

What sound pickup and microphone features does it offer?

The Phenyx Pro PTU-71-2H handheld microphones use a cardioid polar pattern to focus pickup and reject ambient noise. Specially tuned EQ gives vocals fuller low frequencies, bright high frequencies and a balanced midrange, while a mute function provides quick control during use.

• The replaceable microphone-head design allows the head to be changed.
• The receiver and handheld microphones have metal construction.
• Suitable settings include karaoke, church, weddings, DJ gigs and public speaking.

What comes in the box, and how far can the microphones operate?

The Phenyx Pro PTU-71-2H set includes a dual-channel metal receiver and two UHF handheld microphones, with a stated line-of-sight range of 290 ft (88.4 m)–328 ft (100 m). Actual use is specified for line of sight, so this range is the relevant comparison for an open path between microphones and receiver.

• Also included: one 1/4-inch audio cable, one 6.5 mm to 3.5 mm adapter and one power adapter.
• The set has two antennas, two anti-rolling rings and four rubber feet.
• Four AA batteries are included for 16 hours of use, along with a user manual.

The Phenyx Pro PTU-71-2H suits singers, event hosts and speakers who need two handheld wireless microphones for shared or alternating use. It brings frequency scanning, two selectable UHF channels, included batteries and connection accessories together in a metal dual-channel system for line-of-sight performance use. Phenyx Pro stands behind every product it makes.
