A veterinarian can help with diagnosis and with decisions about treatment and parasite control.

Which intestinal parasites does Panacur C treat?

Panacur C is for the treatment and control of roundworms, hookworms, whipworms and Taenia tapeworms in dogs. These are the four major intestinal parasite groups covered by this dewormer.

• Active ingredient: fenbendazole.
• Intended for canine intestinal parasitism.

How do I give the daily dose?

Mix the dose with a small amount of your dog’s usual food and make sure your dog eats all of the medicated food. The daily dose is 50 mg/kg (22.7 mg/lb) of body weight and is repeated for three days in a row.

• Each packet is one daily dose, with the packet size selected according to your dog’s weight.
• If your dog is between suggested dosing sizes, the next higher size is safe to use; for example, a 15-pound dog should receive a 2 g packet.
• Dry food may need moistening to help the dose mix in.

Which dogs can use Panacur C?

Panacur C is for dogs 6 weeks of age and older, including pregnant dogs. The appropriate deworming schedule can vary with the climate where you live and your dog’s activity, so ask your veterinarian for help with diagnosis, treatment and parasite control.

• About 1% of dogs had vomiting associated with use.
• No known interactions are reported for Panacur C.

What comes in this Panacur C pack?

This pack contains three 4-gram packets. Since the daily packet size depends on a dog’s weight, the 4-gram packet amount should be considered alongside the weight-based dose rather than treated as a universal dose for every dog.

Panacur C is suited to dog owners seeking a fenbendazole dewormer for the intestinal parasites it covers, with a food-mixed daily dose and a three-day course. Its weight-based dosing, three 4-gram packets and stated use for dogs aged 6 weeks and older make the pack’s intended use clear.
