• Also contains Boswellia serrata extract and green tea extract — two additional ingredients in the proprietary formula.
• Made in the United States with globally sourced ingredients — with quality checks that go beyond industry standards.
• From Nutramax Laboratories Veterinary Sciences, Inc., a pet health supplement company with over 25 years of experience.

Dasuquin is made for dog owners looking to add joint health support to a pet’s daily routine. Its soft-chew format offers a practical way to administer a supplement, while the formula combines several ingredients selected to work together in support of healthy joints.

What does Dasuquin MSM help support?

Dasuquin is formulated to help support your dog’s joint health. Its patented combination brings together glucosamine hydrochloride (FCHG49®), sodium chondroitin sulfate (TRH122®), and avocado/soybean unsaponifiables, or ASU (NMX1000®). The formula is designed around these ingredients working synergistically, rather than relying on glucosamine and chondroitin sulfate alone.

Research shows that this combination works better than glucosamine and chondroitin sulfate alone. That comparison applies to the combined ingredients in the formula and describes its intended joint-support role.

• FCHG49® identifies the formula’s glucosamine hydrochloride.
• TRH122® identifies its sodium chondroitin sulfate.
• NMX1000® identifies its ASU ingredient.

What makes this formula different from a basic glucosamine supplement?

ASU is the additional ingredient that distinguishes the Dasuquin combination. It is paired with glucosamine and chondroitin to help support healthy joints and cartilage, while Boswellia serrata extract and green tea extract are also included in the proprietary formula.

The product’s name identifies it as the MSM version of Dasuquin. Together, the named ingredients make this a multi-ingredient joint supplement, rather than a formula limited to glucosamine and chondroitin sulfate.

• ASU stands for avocado/soybean unsaponifiables.
• The formula includes Boswellia serrata extract and green tea extract.

How is the supplement given to dogs?

Dasuquin comes in soft chews intended for daily administration. The chew format is designed to make giving the supplement convenient as part of a dog’s everyday routine.

This product is the large-dog version and contains 84 chews. Choose it for a large dog whose joint health is the focus of the supplement routine; the product information does not provide a per-dog serving amount, so no serving schedule is stated here.

• Format: soft chews.
• Package quantity: 84 chews.

Where is Dasuquin made, and how is it quality checked?

Dasuquin is manufactured in the United States using globally sourced ingredients. Nutramax Laboratories Veterinary Sciences, Inc. subjects the product to thorough quality inspections, including checks that go beyond industry standards.

Nutramax Laboratories Veterinary Sciences, Inc. is also identified as the #1 veterinarian-recommended supplement company. The joint supplement brand recommendation and company-wide supplement recommendation refer to separate survey claims: the brand claim concerns veterinary brands for oral joint health supplements, while the company claim concerns animal supplements recommended by small animal veterinarians.

• Brand recommendation source: a survey of small animal veterinarians who recommended oral joint health supplements.
• Company recommendation source: a survey of small animal veterinarians who recommended animal supplements.
• Nutramax Laboratories has provided supplements for joint health, digestive health, skin and coat health, calming, and other areas for over 25 years.

Dasuquin MSM is suited to owners of large dogs who want a daily soft-chew supplement formulated to support joint health, with a multi-ingredient formula and manufacturing in the United States. Its 84-chew format and joint-focused formulation define what this product is made for.
