NEUHEILS Bordered Silicone Foam Dressing, 6 x 6 in, 10 Pack for Wound Care

NEUHEILS Bordered Silicone Foam Dressing is designed to manage wound exudate, cushion the wound area and support comfortable dressing changes; each dressing measures 6 x 6 in (15.2 x 15.2 cm) and the box contains 10 dressings.

• Hypocellular foam absorbs and locks in wound exudate while cushioning and redistributing pressure.
• Soft, high-absorbency foam helps reduce the risk of skin maceration.
• A gentle silicone contact layer is repositionable and designed to minimize trauma and pain during changes.
• Breathable, waterproof film helps keep out dirt and liquid while maintaining a moist wound environment.
• Not made with natural rubber latex.

For wounds that need absorbent coverage and a cushioned dressing, this design brings together a foam pad, a silicone contact layer and a protective film. It is intended for chronic wound management as well as a range of other wound-care needs, including pressure-related wounds, ulcers, burns and skin injuries.

How does NEUHEILS foam dressing manage wound fluid?

The hypocellular foam pad absorbs and locks away wound exudate, helping reduce the risk of maceration. It also provides cushioning and redistributes pressure around the wound area. The breathable, waterproof film helps maintain a moist wound environment, with the design intended to support faster healing in chronic wound management.

• The film helps keep dirt and liquid away from the covered area.
• The foam combines fluid absorption with cushioning.

Is this dressing designed for sensitive or fragile skin?

Yes. Its gentle silicone contact layer is designed for sensitive, fragile and older skin, and allows the dressing to be repositioned. During a dressing change, the silicone layer is intended to minimize trauma and pain; the overall design also aims to provide comfort and make movement easier.

• Suitable wound-care uses include bed sores, pressure ulcers, leg ulcers and diabetic foot ulcers.
• Other intended uses include surgical wounds, first- and second-degree burns, traumatic wounds, abrasions and skin tears.

What are the dressing and absorbent pad measurements?

Each dressing measures 6 x 6 in (15.2 x 15.2 cm) overall, and its absorbent pad measures 4.1 x 4.1 in (10.4 x 10.4 cm). Compare the overall dressing size with the area you want to cover, and note that the absorbent pad occupies a smaller central area.

• Each box contains 10 dressings.
• The dressing is not made with natural rubber latex.

NEUHEILS Bordered Silicone Foam Dressing is suited to people managing wounds that need exudate absorption, cushioning and a contact layer designed for sensitive or fragile skin. Its foam pad, repositionable silicone layer and protective film bring those functions together in a 6 x 6 in dressing.
