Vertuo Next is made for people who want coffee and espresso from one capsule-based machine, with a choice of serving sizes and coffee profiles. Its slim 5.5-inch-wide design suits a counter where width matters, while capsule-led brewing keeps preparation straightforward: insert a Vertuo capsule, activate the machine, and close the lever.

What coffee and espresso sizes can Vertuo Next brew?

Nespresso Vertuo Next brews four coffee volumes—5, 8, 12, and 18 oz—and single or double espresso. That range lets you select a shorter espresso or a larger coffee using the same machine. Centrifusion extraction produces coffee with a smooth layer of crema, the signature finish of the Vertuo brewing system.

• Four coffee options: 5, 8, 12, and 18 oz.
• Two espresso options: single and double.
• Over 40 permanent Vertuo coffee varieties, from dark and strong to mild and smooth.
• Limited-edition blends and flavors are also available in the Vertuo range.

How does the Vertuo Next brewing system work?

Nespresso Vertuo Next uses Centrifusion, a patented extraction technology that spins the inserted capsule and blends the ground coffee with water. The machine reads each capsule and automatically adjusts its brewing parameters, so you do not have to set those parameters manually. To brew, insert a Vertuo capsule, activate the machine, and close the lever.

• Capsule recognition sets the brewing parameters automatically.
• The spinning extraction process draws coffee from the capsule.
• The system is designed to produce a smooth, full-bodied cup with a layer of coffee foam.

Which capsules fit, and what is included?

Nespresso Vertuo Next works exclusively with Nespresso Vertuo capsules, including Starbucks by Nespresso Vertuo capsules. It is not a machine for other Nespresso capsule systems. A complimentary welcome set is included so you can sample different Vertuo aroma profiles; the selection may vary.

• Compatible capsule range: Nespresso Vertuo.
• Starbucks by Nespresso Vertuo capsules are compatible.
• The capsule body is aluminum and can be recycled through Nespresso’s free program.
• The machine is navy blue and made by Breville.

Nespresso Vertuo Next suits coffee drinkers who want several coffee and espresso formats, capsule-based preparation, and a compact 5.5-inch-wide machine. Its six brew sizes, automatic capsule recognition, and Vertuo-only compatibility make it a fit for buyers choosing within the Vertuo capsule range.
