• Welded steel frame with a grey powder-coated finish — supports up to 350 lb (159 kg).

• Seat lid, splash shield and bucket with carry handle and lid included — provides the components for bedside use.

This folding commode is made for people who need a toileting option close to the bed or added support when sitting down and standing up at a toilet. Its adjustable frame and three configurations let it serve different toileting and support needs, while the foldable design makes it easier to store or take along.

What are the three ways to use the Medline commode?

Use the Medline Folding Steel Bedside Commode as a bedside commode, as a raised toilet seat with the bucket removed, or as a support frame positioned around a toilet seat. The frame provides support when sitting down and getting up. For over-toilet use, remove the bucket before positioning the frame.

• Bedside configuration with the included bucket.
• Raised-seat configuration over a regular toilet.
• Support-frame configuration around a toilet seat.

Can I adjust the seat height, and what size is the seat?

Yes. The Medline Folding Steel Bedside Commode adjusts from 24.5 in (62.2 cm) to 30.1 in (76.5 cm) in 1 in (2.54 cm) increments using push-buttons. Its standard seat measures 14.5 in (36.8 cm) deep by 13.5 in (34.3 cm) wide, so compare these dimensions with the user’s seating needs and available space.

• Assembled frame: 17 in (43.2 cm) long by 20 in (50.8 cm) wide.
• Assembled height range: 24.5–30.1 in (62.2–76.5 cm).

What is included, and how does the frame fold?

The Medline Folding Steel Bedside Commode includes a contoured plastic seat, plastic arms, seat lid, splash shield and a commode bucket with a carry handle and lid. The plastic seat snaps into place and can be removed for cleaning. Assembly is tool-free, and the frame folds down for storage or portability.

• Folded dimensions: 8.5 in (21.6 cm) long by 21 in (53.3 cm) wide by 15.2–24.5 in (38.6–62.2 cm) high.
• Welded steel construction with a grey powder-coated finish.
• Snap-on plastic seat for quick, easy cleaning.

This commode suits users who need a height-adjustable bedside toileting option, a raised seat over a regular toilet, or a frame for support around a toilet. Its standard seat size, three use configurations and folding steel frame make it a practical choice for those needs.
