Master Lock Portable Key Lock Box 2-Pack, 4-Digit Combination, Holds 5 Keys

Master Lock 5400EC2 is a two-pack of portable combination key lock boxes for sharing spare-key access, with room for up to five standard house keys in each box.

• Two lock boxes in the pack — manage spare-key access at two locations.
• Holds up to five standard house keys per box, including keys up to 2 in (5.08 cm) — keep several keys together for approved users.
• Resettable four-digit combination — change the access code when permissions change.
• Metal body with a protective shutter door — helps shield the combination dials from outdoor exposure.
• Vinyl-coated shackle for most ball, biscuit, and tulip door knobs — hang the box without tools or permanent mounting.

When family members, caregivers, dog walkers, guests, or service professionals need access, a hidden key or a handoff can make coordination harder. These portable boxes provide a place to keep spare keys available to trusted users while the owner controls the combination. The two-box pack can support access at separate homes or entry points, including residential properties, vacation rentals, real estate showings, and emergency-entry planning.

How many keys can each Master Lock 5400EC2 hold?

Each Master Lock 5400EC2 key lock box holds up to five standard house keys, with compatibility for standard keys up to 2 in (5.08 cm). This gives users space to store a group of keys together rather than distributing duplicate copies to everyone who may need access. For a rental host, that can make guest access easier to coordinate; for a household, it can provide a shared access point for family or caregivers. The pack contains two lock boxes, so the same approach can be used at two locations.

• Designed for standard house keys.
• Capacity is up to five keys per box.
• Two portable boxes are included in the pack.

How does the combination and weather protection work?

The Master Lock 5400EC2 uses a resettable four-digit combination that you set yourself, with thousands of personalized code options. Reset the code when access needs change, so access can be managed without replacing the lock box or coordinating a physical key handoff. A metal body and protective shutter door help shield the combination dials from rain, dust, and everyday outdoor exposure. The shutter provides a cover for the dials; the box is not described as waterproof.

• Set and reset your own four-digit code.
• Use a new code when access permissions change.
• The protective shutter covers the combination dials.

Where can the Master Lock 5400EC2 be hung?

The portable shackle fits over most ball, biscuit, and tulip-style door knobs, allowing the box to hang without tools or permanent installation. Its vinyl coating helps prevent scratches to the surface it hangs from. Fit depends on the knob or handle: compare the shackle opening with the intended mounting point, since the stated compatibility covers most of these knob styles rather than every possible handle.

This setup suits temporary access needs, such as coordinating a property showing, as well as recurring arrangements for a household or rental. Real estate professionals can use a lock box to support showing access; rental hosts can make a spare key available for guest entry; and families can plan for access by caregivers or other trusted people. It is also intended for emergency access situations where a spare key needs to be available. In each case, the combination provides a way to manage access without handing out extra physical keys.

• Compatible with most ball, biscuit, and tulip door knobs.
• No tools or permanent mounting are needed.
• The shackle has a vinyl coating to help protect surfaces from scratches.

The Master Lock 5400EC2 is suited to homeowners, rental hosts, real estate professionals, and households arranging spare-key access for trusted people. It brings together two boxes, multi-key capacity, a resettable combination, and a shackle designed for common door-knob styles in a portable key-sharing option.
