Leviton Decora Rocker Light Switch, White 10-Pack, 15A Quiet Single-Pole

Leviton 5601-2WM is a white, residential-grade Decora rocker switch for single-pole on/off control, rated 15 amps at 120/277 volts.

• Ten white switches per pack — outfit multiple switch locations with one matching style.
• Grounding design — provides a grounding connection as part of the switch setup.
• Quiet rocker action — operates smoothly with reduced switching noise.
• Dust-shielding switch frame — helps prevent the rocker from binding when fitted in a wallplate.
• Works with tungsten, fluorescent, and resistive loads — supports several common load types.

For home lighting and other compatible electrical loads, the Decora rocker combines straightforward on/off control with a clean, contemporary switch profile. Its single-pole configuration is made for a circuit controlled from one switch location. The white finish and rocker format suit rooms where a simple, consistent wall-switch appearance is wanted.

What kind of control does this Leviton switch provide?

It provides single-pole on/off switching with a quiet rocker mechanism. The switch is residential grade and has a 15-amp rating at 120/277 volts. Its Decora format gives the wall control a broad, flat rocker face rather than a small toggle.

• Designed for single-pole control.
• Rated for 15 amps and 120/277 volts.
• White Decora rocker design.

Which loads and wires can it accommodate?

The Leviton 5601-2WM is rated for tungsten, fluorescent, and resistive loads; motor capacity is 80% of the switch rating. Terminal screws accept wire up to No. 12 AWG, while the Quickwire push-in terminals accept No. 14 AWG solid copper wire only. Match the conductor type and size to the terminal you plan to use.

• Terminal-screw capacity: up to No. 12 AWG.
• Quickwire push-in terminals: No. 14 AWG solid copper only.
• Motor capacity: 80% of the switch rating.

How is the rocker designed to fit a wallplate?

The switch frame shields against dust and is shaped to fit in a wallplate, helping keep the rocker from binding. Its construction and terminal options support installation in residential switch locations using a compatible single-pole circuit.

• Frame shields the switch against dust.
• Frame design helps prevent rocker binding.
• Grounding design for a grounded installation.

This ten-pack suits homeowners and electrical projects needing white, residential-grade single-pole rocker switches for compatible loads. It is a single-pole on/off switch, not a dimmer or a three-way control. Its rated load types, wire-terminal options, and dust-shielding frame make it a practical fit for residential switch locations where quiet Decora-style operation is wanted.
