KLEIN TOOLS Wire Stripper and Cutter 11055EP for Solid and Stranded Wire

KLEIN TOOLS 11055EP is a wire stripper and cutter for electrical work, sized for 10-18 AWG solid wire and 12-20 AWG stranded wire.

• Made in USA — a wire tool manufactured in the United States.
• Cuts, strips and loops wire, and shears 6-32 and 8-32 screws — handles several common wire-preparation tasks.
• Precision-ground stripping holes — supports stripping wire at the tool’s specified sizes.
• Serrated gripping nose with wire-looping and bending holes — helps shape, pull, loop and bend wire.
• Coil spring and closure lock — assists with opening the tool and securing it for storage.

Wire preparation often involves more than making a cut: wire may need stripping, shaping or looping before a connection is made. This compact, lightweight tool brings those functions together for electrical tasks, while its curved handles are designed to reach into confined areas.

What wire sizes does the KLEIN TOOLS 11055EP handle?

The KLEIN TOOLS 11055EP strips and cuts 10-18 AWG solid wire and 12-20 AWG stranded wire. It also cleanly cuts copper wire, making it suited to wire work within those stated ranges.

• Separate ranges are provided for solid and stranded wire.
• Shear-type cutting blades make clean cuts.

What tasks can this wire stripper and cutter perform?

The KLEIN TOOLS 11055EP cuts and strips wire, with holes for looping and bending it. Its serrated nose grips wire for pulling, shaping and bending, and the tool also shears 6-32 and 8-32 screws.

• Precision-ground holes are made for stripping wire.
• The serrated nose adds a gripping point for wire handling.

Is the KLEIN TOOLS 11055EP suited to tight work areas?

Yes. The KLEIN TOOLS 11055EP has curved handles that help it reach into confined areas, with double-dipped grips for a comfortable hold. A coil spring helps open the tool, and a closure lock holds it closed for storage.

• The handle shape is intended to provide reach in confined spaces.
• Its closure lock supports compact storage when the tool is not in use.

Electricians and other users preparing solid or stranded copper wire can benefit from having cutting, stripping, looping and shaping functions in one tool. KLEIN TOOLS has manufactured tools since 1857 and remains a family-owned and family-run American company. The 11055EP combines stated wire-size ranges, multiple wire-preparation functions and curved handles for work in tighter spaces.
