• Made using a traditional Himalayan technique from Nepal — brings a regional cheese-making method to a dog chew.
• Designed for dogs 65 lb and under and at least 12 weeks old — helps buyers choose for their dog’s size and age.

These chews are made for dogs that enjoy spending time working on a firm, edible treat. Their hard texture gives dogs a chew to soften gradually, making them a choice for chewing entertainment rather than a quick snack.

What is in The Original Himalayan Dog Chew?

Each chew is crafted from pasteurized yak and cow’s milk, without preservatives, binding agents, or additives. The milk is cured using a process that removes lactose and meets food safety requirements. The resulting cheese chew is naturally lactose-free, as well as gluten-free, grain-free, and soy-free.

The recipe draws on a Himalayan cheese-making technique from Nepal. Artisans handcraft the chews using methods passed down through families for hundreds of years.

• Made with milk from yaks and cows.
• The curing process removes lactose.
• The treat is described as naturally nutritious and easily digestible.

Which dogs are these chews sized for?

The large and extra-large chews are intended for dogs weighing 65 lb or less and are not for puppies younger than 12 weeks. The pack contains five original cheese-flavored chews, each listed at 3.3 oz.

Chews are packaged by weight, so their sizes, quantities, and colors can vary. Use the stated weight and age guidance to decide whether this chew fits your dog.

• Large and extra-large sizes are included in the pack.
• Color can vary between chews.

How does the hard cheese chew keep dogs occupied?

Dogs soften the end with their mouths before gradually chewing small pieces from it. This gradual chewing process can keep dogs busy for hours, including dogs that chew persistently.

The chews are described as better digested than standard rawhide chews and bully sticks. Their firm cheese format provides a different chewing experience from those alternatives.

• Dogs work on the end of the chew before removing small pieces.
• The chew is designed to be long-lasting and digestible.

These chews are suited to owners looking for a milk-based, long-lasting treat for a dog that meets the age and weight guidance. The hard yak-and-cow-milk cheese format, traditional Nepalese crafting method, and clearly defined ingredient exclusions make this a specific fit for dogs that enjoy working on a chew.
