Handcrafted Handy Dandy’s Steve Notebook is a pretend-play and drawing set for young children, with a 4 x 5-inch notebook (10.16 x 12.7 cm) and a jumbo, non-toxic crayon.

• Hand-assembled notebook with a break-resistant red spiral — made for little hands and imaginative play.
• 50 thick yellow paper pages — ready for drawing, writing and clue-search play.
• 120 paw print stickers — add clues to pretend searches.
• Jumbo black crayon with green stripes, 5 inches (127 mm) long and over 1/2 inch (15 mm) wide — sized for children’s drawing and writing.
• Hand-bent spiral end that catches the crayon — helps keep it from slipping out the other side.

This set brings a notebook, crayon and clue stickers together for children who enjoy pretend adventures, drawing and making up their own activities. Its compact notebook format is designed for little hands, while the pages give children space to write and draw as they play along with Steve or create their own clues.

What comes with the Steve Notebook?

The set includes one notebook, one jumbo crayon and one pack of 120 paw print stickers. The notebook has 50 yellow paper pages for drawings, writing and clue-search activities, and the black crayon has green stripes. Refill paper, additional crayons and sticker packs are available separately.

• 50 thick pages for writing and drawing during play.
• 120 paw print stickers for pretend clue searches.
• One black crayon with green stripes for coloring and writing.

How is the notebook designed for pretend play?

A large red spiral holds the pages together, and its end is bent by hand to form a crayon catcher. This feature helps keep the crayon from falling out through the other side of the coil. The notebook is assembled one at a time by stay-at-home moms, with the coil and catcher finished by hand.

• The extra-large spiral is made to be break-resistant.
• The hand-bent coil end helps retain the crayon.
• The activities support drawing, imaginative play and fine motor skill practice.

Will the notebook and crayon suit a child’s hands?

The notebook measures 4 inches wide by 5 inches tall, including its spiral binding. The crayon measures 5 inches (127 mm) long and over 1/2 inch (15 mm) wide; its larger shape is intended to be less likely to break during play. The crayon is non-toxic and safe for children.

• Notebook size: 4 inches wide by 5 inches tall, including the coil.
• Crayon color: black with green stripes.
• Use the pages for drawing, writing or making pretend-play clues.

The Handcrafted Handy Dandy Steve Notebook set suits children who enjoy hands-on drawing, clue hunts and imaginative play with a notebook of their own. Its compact notebook, thick yellow pages, paw print stickers and jumbo crayon bring those activities together in one set.
