Filpestco Rat and Mouse Traps, 4 Count Reusable Covered Tunnel Snap Trap

Filpestco large rat and mouse traps are a four-count tunnel snap-trap set designed to catch large rats as well as smaller rats and mice.

• Built-in tunnel cover with no exposed jaw — keeps the snap jaw enclosed during use.
• ABS plastic construction designed for repeated use — provides a reusable alternative to glue traps.
• Sensitive trigger mechanism — responds to smaller rats and mice as well as large rats.
• Interlocking tooth jaw and strong force — designed for secure trapping and a quick kill.
• One-touch setup and disposal — makes setting the trap and disposing of a dead rodent straightforward without holding it.

These traps are made for rodent control when the target may be a large rat, a smaller rat, or a mouse. Their covered snap-trap format is suited to buyers who want the jaw enclosed, while the reusable construction offers a different approach from disposable glue traps. The design also makes setup and dead-rodent disposal part of the trap’s handling features.

What size rodents are these Filpestco traps designed to catch?

The extra-large trap measures 8 x 5.6 x 4 inches (20.32 x 14.22 x 10.16 cm) and is designed for large rats, with a sensitive trigger mechanism for smaller rats and mice. The combination of the larger body and responsive trigger serves more than one rodent size. Compare the listed dimensions with the space available where you plan to use the trap.

• Overall size: 8 x 5.6 x 4 inches (20.32 x 14.22 x 10.16 cm).
• Designed for large rats, smaller rats, and mice.

How does the covered snap-trap design work?

A built-in tunnel cover encloses the jaw, so there is no exposed jaw during use. This covered layout is intended to reduce direct access to the snap mechanism for people and pets, with children specifically considered in the design. Inside the trap, a sensitive trigger works with an interlocking tooth jaw and strong force; the mechanism is designed to trap rodents securely and deliver a quick kill.

• The tunnel cover is built into the trap.
• The jaw is not exposed in the covered design.

Can the traps be used more than once?

Yes. Filpestco makes these traps from ABS plastic and engineers them for multiple uses. Unlike glue traps, which are not reusable in the same way, these snap traps are intended to be used again. Pest-control professionals use this type of reusable trap, and the construction is designed to withstand repeated use.

• Material: ABS plastic.
• Designed for repeated use rather than single-use disposal after a catch.

How are the trap and a caught rodent handled?

The traps are designed for one-touch setup and one-touch dead-rodent disposal. These features make both steps part of the trap’s operation, and disposal does not require holding the dead rodent. The enclosed tunnel and operating mechanism are separate design features: the cover keeps the jaw unexposed, while the one-touch design supports setup and disposal.

• One-touch setup is part of the design.
• One-touch disposal avoids the need to hold the dead rodent.

Filpestco’s traps suit buyers looking for a reusable snap trap for large rats, smaller rats, or mice, particularly when an enclosed jaw and straightforward handling are priorities. The extra-large format, tunnel cover, and repeat-use construction bring those features together in a rodent trap designed for this range of catch sizes.
