What kind of light do these BR30 bulbs produce?

They produce 1,400 lumens of 5000K daylight in a high-CRI format. The daylight color temperature provides a bright, balanced tone, and the high color rendering index is a useful feature when color appearance matters in a space. Each bulb provides the light output of a 100-watt incandescent while consuming 16 watts.

• 5000K color temperature — a daylight tone for indoor lighting.
• High-CRI LED — designed to render colors with a high color rendering index.

Can I dim these bulbs and use them in recessed cans?

Yes, the bulbs are dimmable and the BR30 shape is intended for recessed-can lighting. Feit Electric specifies compatibility with a wide range of dimmer switches, so the light level can be adjusted to suit an activity or mood. For fit, compare the fixture’s requirements with the BR30 bulb shape.
