Elixir phosphor bronze acoustic guitar strings use NANOWEB Technology to deliver a rich, full tone and a smooth feel in a six-string Custom Light 11-52 set.

  • Phosphor bronze wrap wire with NANOWEB Technology — brings a rich, full-bodied acoustic tone.
  • Coating protects the entire string from sweat, corrosion, humidity and rust — helps preserve a fresh-out-the-box sound.
  • Custom Light 11-52 gauge, six-string set — supplies a complete set for an acoustic guitar.
  • Made in the USA and lab- and field-tested — each set is tested at Elixir’s facility.
  • Designed for less frequent string changes — leaves more time for playing.

These strings are made for acoustic guitarists who want a consistent-feeling set for playing at home, in the studio or on stage. Their coated construction addresses the wear that can affect wound strings, while the NANOWEB finish is intended to retain tone without making the strings feel noticeably coated.

What tone and feel do Elixir NANOWEB strings provide?

Elixir’s NANOWEB strings have a bright, lively sound and a smooth response, with a coating so thin it is barely noticeable. The phosphor bronze wrap wire contributes a rich, full-bodied tone, while the coating is designed to extend the tone life of wound strings. Elixir calls this its longest-lasting tone, pairing that claim with the NANOWEB construction.

  • Sound and feel are intended to remain close to uncoated strings.
  • The smooth feel suits players who prefer a comfortable surface under their fingers.

What does the NANOWEB coating protect against?

The coating covers the entire string and helps protect it from sweat, corrosion, humidity and rust. This protection is designed to help the strings keep a fresh-out-the-box sound over time, rather than requiring frequent changes to maintain that character.

  • Made for use across home practice, studio sessions and stage playing.
  • Elixir strings are trusted by millions of players worldwide.

What is included, and what does Custom Light 11-52 mean?

The set contains six acoustic guitar strings in Custom Light 11-52 gauge. It is a complete six-string set, with phosphor bronze wrap wire and NANOWEB Technology; the gauge designation identifies this set’s string gauge.

  • Manufactured in the USA.
  • Each set is lab- and field-tested at Elixir’s facility.

These strings suit acoustic guitarists looking for a bright, lively response, a smooth feel and a coated set designed to maintain its tone between changes. The six-string Custom Light 11-52 format is made for acoustic guitar use, with NANOWEB protection across the strings.
