What environmental factors does Face Shield Flex protect against?

Colorescience Face Shield Flex uses patented EnviroScreen Technology to help defend skin from UVA and UVB rays, pollution, blue light, infrared radiation and free radicals. The hydrating, antioxidant-rich mineral formula is designed to nourish skin and help protect against free radicals that contribute to premature aging and skin damage.

• Protection addresses five environmental stressors, including sunlight and pollution.
• Antioxidant ingredients help counter free radicals.

How does the tint adapt, and what finish does it give?

Colorescience Face Shield Flex uses iron oxide pigments that adjust to the skin’s natural tone. The six adaptable shades suit a range of skin tones and undertones, and the color can be layered or mixed to customize the finish. Coverage is medium and buildable, with a natural, demi-matte result and no white cast.

• Encapsulated pigments help restore radiance as they blend.
• The tint helps blur the appearance of imperfections and even the look of skin tone.
• Its coverage is designed to work as a tinted sunscreen and foundation alternative.

What kind of sunscreen is it, and how long is it water-resistant?

Colorescience Face Shield Flex is an all-mineral sunscreen with 12% zinc oxide and Broad Spectrum SPF 50/PA++++ protection. It is water- and sweat-resistant for 40 minutes, making it suited to routines that include brief exposure to water or perspiration; reapply sunscreen as part of your sun-care routine.

• The formula combines mineral sunscreen actives with skin-care ingredients.
• Its tinted format pairs facial sun protection with buildable color coverage.
