Clean Nutraceuticals Magplex Magnesium Complex, 8 Forms, 407 mg per Serving

Clean Nutraceuticals Magplex is a magnesium complex supplement for women and men, with 407 mg of magnesium from eight forms in each four-capsule serving.

• 407 mg of magnesium from eight forms per four-capsule serving — combines multiple forms in one formula.
• 1,000 mg magnesium glycinate chelate, the largest form in the blend, plus magnesium citrate — brings these forms together in the same capsules.
• 400 mg each of magnesium malate and magnesium taurate — includes both forms in the blend.
• Magnesium orotate, gluconate, carbonate and lactate — rounds out the eight-form formula with four additional forms.
• A 5 mg probiotic blend and a 5 mg prebiotic blend — adds both blends to the magnesium formula.

Magplex is made for adults who want a magnesium supplement that combines several forms in one capsule formula rather than focusing on a single form. Its blend includes glycinate chelate, citrate, malate, taurate, orotate, gluconate, carbonate and lactate. The product is intended as a magnesium supplement for women and men; the serving directions and cautions below help clarify how to take it and who should seek medical guidance first.

Which forms of magnesium are in Magplex?

Each four-capsule serving lists 407 mg of magnesium from eight forms, with magnesium glycinate chelate as the largest named component at 1,000 mg. The formula also includes citrate, so multiple magnesium forms are combined in the same supplement. The listed amounts for the other forms make it easier to see how the blend is assembled rather than treating it as an unspecified magnesium mix.

• Magnesium malate: 400 mg; magnesium taurate: 400 mg.
• Magnesium gluconate: 416 mg; magnesium orotate: 100 mg.
• Magnesium carbonate: 52 mg; magnesium lactate: 50 mg.
• The eight forms are glycinate chelate, citrate, malate, taurate, orotate, gluconate, carbonate and lactate.

What probiotic and prebiotic blends does it include?

Magplex adds a 5 mg five-strain probiotic blend and a separate 5 mg prebiotic blend to its magnesium ingredients. The probiotic blend has a concentration of 300 billion CFU/g and names five bacterial strains. The prebiotic blend combines five ingredients in the same serving, making both blends part of this multi-ingredient capsule formula.

• Probiotic strains: Lactobacillus casei, Lactobacillus acidophilus, Lactobacillus paracasei, Bifidobacterium lactis and Bifidobacterium bifidum.
• Prebiotic ingredients: apple pectin, FOS, GOS, agave inulin and Jerusalem artichoke.

How do you take Magplex, and what is in the bottle?

A bottle contains 120 vegetarian cellulose capsules, equal to 30 servings at the stated four-capsule serving size. Do not exceed the recommended dose. Pregnant or nursing mothers, children under 18 and anyone with a known medical condition should consult a physician before use.
