Boveda 72% RH Humidity Control Packs, Size 60, 12-Pack for Dry Environments

Boveda 72% RH Size 60 humidity control packs help maintain moisture in porous-material humidifier boxes, with 12 individually usable packs in this set.

• Made for humidifier boxes built from porous materials such as wood or leather — suited to low-humidity environments and high altitudes.
• Two-way humidity control absorbs excess moisture and releases moisture when the air is too dry — helping stabilize conditions inside the closed box.
• Use one 5.25 x 3.5 in (13.3 x 8.9 cm) pack for every 25 items the box can hold — a clear guide for choosing how many to use.
• The 12-pack cube can serve one large box with capacity up to 300 items, multiple small or medium boxes, or a typical 100-count box for a year.
• Saltwater-based packs need no sponge rewetting, bead refills, or added gel — place a pack inside and close the box.

Hand-rolled items stored in a humidifier box can be affected by air that becomes too dry or too moist. Boveda is made for storage, transport, and collection in porous boxes, helping keep their contents fresh as they age. The 72% RH level is intended for premium items in wood or leather boxes, particularly where the surrounding environment is dry or at high altitude.

How does Boveda control humidity in a humidifier box?

Boveda uses two-way humidity control: the pack absorbs moisture when the air inside the box is too moist and releases moisture when the air is too dry. This exchange is designed to stabilize humidity around the stored items, rather than only adding moisture. The packs use natural ingredients, including a saltwater solution, and are intended to help preserve flavor, aroma, and character. Boveda’s stated performance claim is humidity control within 24–48 hours; its saltwater packs are also positioned as the fastest and most precise humidity control in the market.

• Boveda’s patented two-way humidity-control solution has 25 years of experience behind it.
• More than 3 million people trust Boveda to help protect and maintain stored items.
• Boveda guarantees the quality of its packs.

How many packs do I need for my box?

Use one Size 60 pack for every 25 items the humidifier box can hold. The 12-pack cube is intended to cover a large box with capacity up to 300 items, several small or medium boxes, or one typical 100-count box for a year. The number to use is based on the box’s total capacity, not just how many items are currently inside.

• For a box that holds up to 300 items, the full 12-pack cube is sized for that capacity.
• For a typical 100-count box, the cube can provide a year’s supply.
• Choose the number of packs according to the box’s total item capacity.

How do I use and replace the humidity packs?

Remove the clear plastic overwrap, place the unopened brown pack inside the humidifier box, add the items, and close the lid. Do not cut or open the brown packet. Replace a pack every 3 months, or when it feels hard and crunchy. Boveda requires no refilling or rewetting, and its 72% RH packs should not be mixed with packs set to another RH level.

• Put the pack directly inside the humidifier box.
• Keep the brown humidity packet intact during use.
• Use only one RH level in the same box.

Boveda suits cigar aficionados, beginners, manufacturers, and boutique brands storing hand-rolled items for consumption, transport, or collection. It is designed for use in humidifier boxes made from porous materials, where a steady humidity level helps items age while maintaining their flavor and aroma. Its two-way exchange and pack-per-capacity guidance make it a practical fit for users managing storage in wood or leather boxes.
