Bernzomatic TS 8000 Trigger Start Torch with Adjustable Flame and Run Lock

The Bernzomatic TS 8000 Trigger Start Torch is a high-intensity torch for soldering and other applications, with instant on/off trigger ignition and an adjustable flame.

• Instant on/off trigger ignition — switch the torch on and off at the trigger.
• Large, optimized swirl flame — delivers high heat output for torch work.
• Adjustable flame control — set the flame more precisely for different applications.
• Run lock button — keep the torch lit for finger-free use.
• Pressure-regulated operation — supports consistent performance in any direction.
• Cast aluminum body — made with cast aluminum for added durability.

For soldering and other torch applications, the Bernzomatic TS 8000 combines direct trigger ignition with controls for adjusting and maintaining the flame. Its pressure-regulated operation is designed to perform in any direction, giving users flexibility when the work calls for different torch angles. The torch is supplied as a TS 8000 Torch.

What is the Bernzomatic TS 8000 Torch designed to do?

It is designed for soldering and a range of other applications that use a torch flame. Bernzomatic identifies the TS 8000 as the hottest-burning torch in its line. Its large, optimized swirl flame produces maximum heat output, and the manufacturer states that it provides 30% faster soldering time.

The swirl flame and high heat output make this model suited to work where heat delivery is central to the task. Flame control lets users adjust the flame for different applications rather than relying on one fixed setting.

• High-intensity torch head with a large swirl flame.
• Manufacturer-claimed 30% faster soldering time.

How do the ignition and flame controls work?

The trigger provides instant on/off ignition, while the adjustable flame control allows more precise flame setting. A separate run lock button keeps the torch lit for finger-free use during an application.

These controls serve different purposes: the trigger operates ignition, the flame control adjusts the flame, and the run lock holds the torch on. Together, they give the user control over lighting, flame setting, and continued operation without needing to keep a finger on the trigger.

• Trigger ignition for switching the torch on and off.
• Separate flame adjustment and run lock controls.

Can the Bernzomatic TS 8000 operate at different angles?

Yes. Pressure regulation allows the torch to burn in any direction with consistent performance.

This directional operation is useful when the working position calls for angling the torch rather than holding it upright. The body is made from cast aluminum, a construction detail Bernzomatic connects with added durability.

• Pressure-regulated flame operation in any direction.
• Cast aluminum body construction.

The Bernzomatic TS 8000 is suited to people doing soldering or other torch work who want trigger ignition, adjustable flame control, and a run lock in one torch. It includes the TS 8000 Torch and pairs a high-output swirl flame with pressure-regulated operation for use in any direction.
