Bell Laboratories Talpirid Mole Bait, 20 Count Earthworm-Shaped Baits for Lawns

Bell Laboratories Talpirid 7150 is a mole bait designed to control moles, with 20 earthworm-shaped baits and a claim to kill moles in 24 hours.

• 20 worm-shaped baits — supplies bait designed to resemble a mole’s natural food.
• Earthworm-like size, shape, and feel — helps the bait mimic an earthworm.
• 24-hour kill claim — provides a stated timeframe for mole control.
• Two individually sealed trays of 10 — keeps the baits divided into two portions.
• Electric power type — electric is the product’s specified power type.

Moles travel through underground tunnels, so bait needs to be placed where an active run brings it within reach. Talpirid is made for mole control in lawns and is shaped to resemble the earthworms moles naturally eat. Finding an active tunnel and following the package’s three-step process are part of using the bait as intended.

How does Talpirid bait work on moles?

Talpirid mimics an earthworm’s size, shape, and feel to resemble a mole’s natural food. The product carries a claim to kill moles in 24 hours. For the bait to be encountered, placement needs to reach an active tunnel rather than an unused run.

• Worm-shaped bait mimics an earthworm.
• Designed for mole control in active runs.

How many baits come in the package?

The package contains 20 worm-shaped baits in two individually sealed trays, with 10 baits in each tray. The divided format keeps the total quantity organized into two portions for use.

• 20 baits total.
• Two sealed trays, 10 baits per tray.

How should I choose where to place the bait?

Test a tunnel to identify an active run, then follow the three-step process on the package instructions. Baiting without first locating active tunnels can mean moles never encounter or eat the bait. Wear gloves when handling and placing it, because human scent may contaminate the bait.

• Test tunnels for activity before baiting.
• Use the package’s three-step process.
• Handle the bait with gloves to avoid scent contamination.

What conditions can affect the bait?

Heavy rain and humidity can break down the bait faster than normal conditions. Lawn insecticides or fertilizers applied within a few days before or after baiting can also contaminate it as chemicals seep through the tunnels. Keep these factors in mind when planning placement.

• Rain and humidity may speed bait breakdown.
• Nearby chemical lawn treatments can affect bait through tunnel seepage.

Talpirid is suited to lawn owners seeking a worm-shaped bait for mole control who can identify an active tunnel and follow the package process. Its 20 baits come in two sealed trays, and the bait is formed to resemble an earthworm.
