Rugs that shift or curl at the corners can be inconvenient in busy areas of the home. Alien Grip pads are made to anchor rugs and mats without applying glue to the floor. Use them in places such as kitchens, bathrooms, entryways, offices, and other areas where a rug needs help staying put.

How do the Alien Grip rug grippers hold a rug?

Each pad uses a two-sided grip system: one face grips carpet fibers, while the other grips the floor. This design helps keep a rug from sliding and helps prevent its corners from curling. To use a pad, peel it, place it, and press it into position.

• Place the carpet-gripping side against the rug fibers.
• Press the floor-gripping side onto the floor.
• Peel the pad away when you want to reposition or remove it.

Will the pads work on hardwood or tile?

Alien Grip pads are designed for most surfaces, including hardwood and tile. Their floor-facing grip works without glue or adhesive, and the pads peel away without leaving sticky residue. For a clean placement, press the pad onto the floor and rug as part of the application.

• Suitable for securing rugs or mats on hardwood and tile.
• Designed to remove cleanly without adhesive residue.
• The product is intended for most surfaces, rather than a guarantee of compatibility with every floor type.

How many rug corners can one set cover?

The set contains 12 individual pads, each measuring 4 x 4 in (10.16 x 10.16 cm), giving you pads to use across multiple rugs. The square pads are intended for rug corners and can also be used to secure mats.
