Bambüsi 2-Tier Bamboo Dish Drying Rack, Foldable Countertop Dish Drainer

Bambüsi’s 2-tier bamboo dish drying rack is designed to air-dry everyday dishes on the counter, with 14 plate slots and a fold-flat design that stores just 1.5 inches thick.

• Opens to 17 x 11.25 x 9.5 inches (43.18 x 28.58 x 24.13 cm) — compare the footprint with your available counter space.
• Folds to 1.5 inches (3.81 cm) thick — tuck it into a cabinet, drawer, or space behind an appliance.
• No assembly or tools required — unfold the rack and it is ready to use.
• Natural bamboo with open slats — lets air reach dishes while water drains down toward the sink.
• Wide X-frame with screw-reinforced joints — supports a load of wet dishes, pots, and pans.

This counter dish drainer is made for kitchens where dishes need a place to dry but counter space is limited. Its medium-size footprint suits use beside the sink or on an open counter, while its folding design makes it practical for apartments, dorms, RVs, campers, and other compact kitchens.

What can the two tiers hold?

The upper tier has 14 slots for standing dinner plates up to 12 inches (30.48 cm) upright and spaced apart. The lower tier holds bowls, cups, mugs, glasses, pots, and pans, and the slats can also be used to dry forks, knives, and spoons. The rack is sold without a utensil holder or drying mat.

• Upper level: upright plates in individual slots.
• Lower level: bowls, drinkware, and cookware.
• Utensils: forks, knives, and spoons can rest on the slats.

How much counter space should I measure?

Allow for an open footprint of 17 x 11.25 x 9.5 inches (43.18 x 28.58 x 24.13 cm). Measure the counter area where you plan to use it, such as beside the sink or on a clear stretch of countertop; this is a medium-size rack made to hold a real dish load rather than a tiny mini rack.

• Open height: 9.5 inches (24.13 cm).
• Open width and depth: 17 x 11.25 inches (43.18 x 28.58 cm).

Does the rack fold away, and is assembly needed?

No assembly is needed: unfold the rack for use, then fold it flat when the dishes are dry. At 1.5 inches (3.81 cm) thick when folded, it can slide into a cabinet or drawer, or fit behind an appliance.

• Ready to use without tools or setup.
• Designed to store in compact spaces between uses.

How do I care for the bamboo rack?

Hand-wash the natural bamboo rack, wipe it dry, and rub it with food-safe mineral oil now and then to maintain its appearance. It is not dishwasher safe. Bambüsi designed the rack in the USA; its open-slat construction allows air around drying dishes, while the broad crisscross frame and reinforced joints help keep the loaded rack steady. It offers a bamboo alternative to wire or plastic racks that can bend or tip under dishes.

• Care: hand wash and wipe dry.
• Occasional care: apply food-safe mineral oil.

Bambüsi’s collapsible rack suits households that want a two-level drying space for plates, drinkware, and cookware without leaving a rack permanently open. It can also make a practical housewarming gift for a first apartment or new home. For buyers who can accommodate its measured counter footprint, it combines 14 plate slots with a fold-flat bamboo frame.
