Anyhall Live-Capture Cage Traps, 2-Pack Black, Reusable for Rats and Mice

Anyhall’s 2-pack of reusable live animal cage traps is designed to catch and relocate rats, mice, chipmunks, voles and similar-size animals, with a larger trigger pedal and automatic door latch.

• Two black live-capture cage traps — set up a pair for catching and relocating animals.
• Each cage measures 12.5 × 5.5 × 4.5 inches (31.75 × 13.97 × 11.43 cm) — sized for rats, mice, chipmunks, voles and similar-size animals.
• A larger trigger pedal and one additional plate compared with similar traps — provides a larger pedal surface for triggering.
• The door closes when the pedal is triggered, and a slide-bar lock automatically latches it — helps keep a captured animal inside.
• Reusable for indoor and outdoor use, and designed for easy cleaning — use the traps again after cleaning.

For nuisance animals around the home, these cages are made for live capture so you can relocate and release the animal rather than use a lethal trap. Their size and trigger mechanism suit smaller animals; the trap is not intended for big squirrels or opossums, which may chew through the wire or break the trigger mechanism.

Which animals are these Anyhall traps designed to catch?

Anyhall’s live cage traps are sized for rats, mice, chipmunks, voles and other animals of a similar size. Their dimensions are 12.5 × 5.5 × 4.5 inches (31.75 × 13.97 × 11.43 cm) per cage. Big squirrels and opossums are outside the intended fit because their strength can damage the wire or trigger mechanism.

• Two traps are included in the pack.
• The cages are black.

How does the Anyhall trigger and door lock work?

When an animal trips the pedal, the door closes immediately and the slide-bar design automatically latches it. The trigger pedal is larger than those on similar traps, and each cage has one more plate than similar traps. These features make the trigger mechanism the central part of the live-capture design.

• Pedal-triggered door closure.
• Automatic slide-bar door latch.

Can these traps be reused, and how should a captured animal be released?

Yes, the cages are reusable indoors and outdoors and are designed for easy cleaning. Wear safety gloves when releasing an animal, cover the cage with a cloth during transport to help reassure it, and release it at least 3 km away. Check local catch-and-release laws before trapping.

• Use safety gloves for release.
• Cover the cage during transportation.
• Follow local rules and release at least 3 km away.

These Anyhall traps suit people seeking a reusable live-capture option for rats, mice, chipmunks, voles and similar-size animals around indoor or outdoor areas. They are intended for smaller animals, not big squirrels or opossums, and their defined cage size and auto-latching door support a catch-and-relocate approach.
